Pipestone Point Resort is located on the Northeast section of Lake of the Woods, Ontario, Canada.

If you are planning on driving there, the resort is near the town of Kenora. 840 miles north of Chicago, 440 miles north of Minneapolis/St. Paul, and 1200 miles from Denver. When traveling to Lake of the Woods, it is easier to enter Canada from International Falls, Minnesota. From there you simply take highways 11 to 71 to 17, for the last 130 miles of your trip. If you are traveling in Canada, it is 1200 miles west of Toronto, and 120 miles east of Winnepeg. The Kenora airport provides convenient access to travelers from United States, Canada and Europe. And because the resort is only accessible by boat or sea plane, our van will take you directly from the airport to Northern Harbour for a scenic eight mile boat trip to the resort.  

Take 35 up to Cloquet, then take 33 to Independence, then 53 to International Falls.

Then take 11 west to 71, then north on 71 to 17.

Take a left (west) on 17 for approximately 4 miles until you see Kenora exit.

Left 2 miles to Tri-Lake Lumber yard on your right.

Take a left turn opposite the lumber yard on Northern Harbor Road for approximately 1 mile, staying to your right going down to the landing.
